On closer inspection, perhaps it is a flowering crabapple. I noticed a little fruit hanging on from last winter - I know some crabapples tend to hold their fruit a long time, but I don't think cherries do.
Cool - thanks, Ms. Horticulture! I knew I could count on you. What about the ones from the duck pond pics on my other blog? They're more pinky colored and cascading.
I love this pic,and I love that it was taken in front of my house! It is still wonderfully beautiful here!
